28.02.2026: No Bailout @ Grandhotel Cosmopolis

No Bailout is an upcoming Hardcore Punk band from Augsburg, Germany, who released their first EP in May, 2025. After getting more and more in contact over time, they asked me if I wanted to take photos again of them at their show at Grandhotel Cosmopolis in Augsburg, where my first studio was actually located. So, of course, I said yes.

The first time I saw them live was in May 2025, shortly before their EP came out. Fortunately I had my camera with me that day and could snap some awesome photos. Their live show was already pretty intense back then, as a fresh band. So you only can guess, how hyped I was, taking photos (and maybe even some video material ;)) of such a perfomance again. And let me tell you, they ripped it.

Their show had everything. Speed, intensity, engagement. A hardcore punk show in a basement of a subcultural, political, alternative hotel in the middle of the city? Count me in! From the start on, they went batshit crazy. The crowd was instantly hooked and moving. Small breaks between the songs were used for spreading the word and political messages. As a dude in his mid 30s, growing up in the southern german hardcore scene, this is where my heart lives. As a photographer trying to do his job: Shitty lighting, a lot of movement and not much space. What a ride!

Local shows mean a lot to me and keep the scene alive. So glad to see that there are people in the town I live in that keep the spirits high.
