After working as nurse assistant, studying geo media design and working as graphic designer and photographer — all fields concerned with structure, space and perception - I decided to orient my life around dogs.

After working with all kinds of dogs, including my own, I chose reduction over variety.

I focus on relationship, documentation and observation. Checking lived realities, honesty and needs-oriented are my approaches.

Alongside that work, I share insights on photographic philosophy and culture around dogs on my YouTube channel, Marco X Blanke, launched in 2024.

My vegan and Straight Edge lifestyle reflects the same principles that shape my work: clarity, intention and a clear stance.
